Lincoln County Jail Roster
The official Lincoln County inmate access channel located in the research is the live roster URL at inmateroster.lincolncountysheriff.us. The search-result title appeared as "New Inmate Roster LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF." The visible roster fields were limited to run date and time, sex grouping, JailId, Photo, Name, Charges, Current Disposition, and Total Bail. Because the raw roster fetch did not expose full profile data, Lincoln County inmate records should not be described as showing height, weight, housing pod, arresting agency, release date, or other fields unless the jail confirms them.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office page names Sheriff Michael Wood and gives sheriff contact information. It is not a jail policy page. It does, however, establish the sheriff-side public contact for county law-enforcement questions. The county HR source states that Lincoln County Detention Center is managed by Correctional Solutions Group, and the CSG facility source lists the detention center at 511 Hangar Ln, Carrizozo, NM 88301.
Use Lincoln County Inmate Search
Use the jail roster first when the question is current Lincoln County custody. If the person was recently arrested, a state prison search may miss the record because New Mexico Corrections Department says it does not have jurisdiction over county or city detention facilities. If the case has moved into court, use the court record path for charges, hearings, plea, disposition, sentence, and warrants.
- Open the Lincoln County Sheriff inmate roster URL and review the roster run date and time.
- Look for the person by name and note the JailId if the roster lists one.
- Read the Charges, Current Disposition, and Total Bail columns as booking or custody fields, not final court outcomes.
- Check New Mexico Case Lookup or the correct court if the charge has become a filed criminal case.
- Call the detention center or sheriff contact if the roster is down, stale, or unclear.
For court charges that began after an arrest, the Lincoln County arrest records and charges page explains how booking-side charge fields differ from filed court charges.
Lincoln County Inmate Search Fields
The roster field inventory is narrow because only the public snippet and documented source fields were available. The safest build is to list what was found and warn that profile pages may not expose more. Roster results should be treated as a point-in-time custody snapshot.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options / Format Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Run Date/Time | Display | n/a | Date and time the roster was generated. |
| Sex grouping | Section | n/a | Male grouping was visible; female grouping may appear when applicable. |
| JailId | Result column | n/a | Numeric jail identifier. |
| Photo | Result column | n/a | Roster indicates a photo column; actual image details were not inspected. |
| Name | Result column | n/a | Last, first middle format was observed in the snippet. |
| Charges | Result column | n/a | Booking charge text, not a final conviction. |
| Current Disposition | Result column | n/a | Current custody or charge status text when listed. |
| Total Bail | Result column | n/a | Total bail amount if applicable. |
Lincoln County Inmate Profile Fields
Lincoln County inmate records should be read with care because a roster field does not equal a court judgment. Charges may later be amended, reduced, dismissed, or resolved by plea or sentence. Total Bail can change after a court order, bond posting, hold, warrant recall, or case update. Current Disposition should be verified with the jail or court when decisions depend on it.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| JailId | The jail's numeric identifier for the roster entry. |
| Photo | A photo column exists, but photo details were not verified from the raw roster. |
| Name | The inmate name listed in roster format. |
| Charges | Booking charge text visible on the custody roster. |
| Current Disposition | Current roster status or disposition text, not necessarily final court disposition. |
| Total Bail | Total bail listed for the roster entry if bail applies. |
Note: The research found no official Lincoln County roster proof for housing unit, projected release, height, weight, or arresting officer fields.
Lincoln County Jail Facilities
Only one local detention facility was documented for this batch. Lincoln County Detention Center is managed by Correctional Solutions Group according to the county HR page, and the CSG facility page lists the facility location. The research also found a commonly referenced jail information phone, but the primary sheriff page did not publish it as a 24-hour jail line, so it should be confirmed before relying on it for urgent matters.

That source is separate from the Lincoln County jail roster and should not be used as the first check for a new county booking.
Lincoln County Jail vs State Prison
Lincoln County Detention Center is the local custody point for pretrial detainees and some sentenced local inmates. NMCD offender search is for state prison, probation, and parole records. NMCD says Adult Prison Division offender data is updated nightly, while Probation and Parole offender search is updated in real time. NMCD also says to allow 24 hours for APD offender information. A missing NMCD result does not prove that a person is not in county custody.
| Custody Type | Best Search | What It Shows |
|---|---|---|
| New Lincoln County arrest | County jail roster or jail phone | Roster charge, disposition, bail, and custody fields if listed. |
| Filed criminal case | Case Lookup, court clerk, or re:SearchNM | Charges, hearings, docket entries, disposition, and sentence if public. |
| State prison or supervision | NMCD Offender Search | State prison, probation, or parole information within NMCD jurisdiction. |
| Federal custody | Federal Bureau of Prisons locator | Federal sentenced custody or BOP custody information. |
The Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator is a separate federal source.
Use it only for federal custody questions, not for Lincoln County Detention Center bookings.
Lincoln County Booking Records
A booking record can list charges before the court has entered a final outcome. The research supports the following custody-to-court path: arrest or hold, booking roster entry, bail or disposition field, court filing or citation path, and later court disposition. For a misdemeanor, DWI, traffic, or preliminary felony matter, Magistrate Court may be involved. For felony criminal, civil, family, probate/estate, administrative, children's court, and lower-court appeals, District Court is the general-jurisdiction venue in Lincoln County.
Bond and bail fields should be treated as current roster information. They can change after arraignment, warrant recall, court appearance, bond posting, or new orders. If a person appears in the roster with charges but no court case can be found, the case may not be filed yet, may be in municipal court, may be under a different name or case number, or may be restricted from public display.
Custody note: Booking charges show accusations or holds. Court records show filed charges, pleas, orders, disposition, and sentencing.
Lincoln County Inmate Visitation
Official Lincoln County pages reviewed did not publish a visitation schedule, mail policy, commissary provider, phone vendor, deposit instruction, dress code, child visitor rule, attorney visit rule, or video-visit price. The correct handling is to state the gap and direct users to confirm with Lincoln County Detention Center before visiting or sending anything.
| Topic | Official Detail Located | Action |
|---|---|---|
| In-person visitation schedule | Not located in official county, sheriff, or CSG source | Confirm with LCDC before visiting. |
| Video visitation | Not located in official sources | Do not rely on unofficial vendor claims. |
| Visitor ID | Not located | Call the facility before arrival. |
| Mail format | Not located | Confirm address and restrictions first. |
| Money deposits | Not located | Ask the facility which payment methods are accepted. |
| Attorney visits | Not located | Call the facility or court. |
The Mobile CitePay source appears in the manifest as a payment portal image, but the research does not verify it as the Lincoln County jail commissary or deposit vendor.
That distinction prevents court or government payment tools from being presented as jail money-deposit tools without official support.
Contact Lincoln County Inmate Offices
For custody status, call the detention center or sheriff contact first. For state prison, probation, or parole records, NMCD lists general contact NMCD-Inquires@state.nm.us, family contact CDFamilySrvcs@state.nm.us, office numbers 505-827-8710 and 505-231-4762, victim services cdvictimsrvcs@cd.nm.gov, inmate records 505-690-9790, and probation/parole 866-416-9867. For a public court case connected to an inmate, use Case Lookup or the court where the case is filed.
The MVD subscriber driver-history source is included in the manifest for this page, but it is not an inmate custody system.
The image is useful as a contrast: driver-history systems, inmate rosters, court records, and state prison records are different public-record channels.
Lincoln County Registry Searches
The Lincoln County "How Do I" menu links to a SheriffAlerts sex-offender search for the county. That registry is separate from the jail roster, inmate lookup, and criminal court record. A person may appear in one system and not another depending on custody, conviction status, registration duties, and reporting rules.
Use registry data only for its stated purpose. For current custody, use the roster. For a filed case, use court records. For a sentenced state inmate, use NMCD. For federal custody, use BOP. Mixing these channels is the most common source of wrong inmate-record conclusions in Lincoln County.
