Why We Built This Site
New Mexico gives the public broad access to many records, but Lincoln County records are not held by a single office. District Court case files are handled through the Twelfth Judicial District in Carrizozo. Magistrate and municipal matters may sit with the court where the citation or case was filed. The County Clerk handles recorded instruments, marriage licenses, elections, Board records, and support for the Probate Judge. Sheriff and jail records use law-enforcement or county request channels.

Only the court or government office that keeps the record can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
